Somer Gundogdu serves as President of Emerging Markets. In this role, he leads professional market sector organizations across Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, South East Asia, and Australia New Zealand.

 

Over his 25+ years of experience, Somer has held a variety of roles in R&D, supply chain, marketing, corporate account management, and general management first in Unilever and then in Diversey in B2B and B2C settings. Prior to his current role, Somer was President, Corporate Accounts and TASKI, President of Europe Middle East Africa, and President of Middle East and Africa in descending order for Diversey.

 

Somer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Bogazici University in Turkey and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech. Somer worked and lived in multiple countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and currently lives and works out of Dubai, UAE.
